January, 2010…Lorraine taped for Television and Radio… “Seniors are Stars”…to promote and prove seniors are: Vital…Glamorous…Sharp…Talented and Fun!

Every seat was taken in the theatre with a “live” “paid” audience…all ages…who cheered…clapped and laughed, at the terrific talent, including a world premiere choreographed by a faculty member of the Boston Ballet.

Also featured were glamorous Lord & Taylor fashions modeled by TISSS members. They and most of the audience danced in the aisles to Lorraine’s original song: “Seniors are Stars”.

For television and radio, Lorraine has interviewed over …100… celebrities, successfully, including an exclusive with the Duchess of York, plus Michael Douglas…Regis Philbin…Joan Rivers…Bob Newhart…Richard Simmons…as well as top sports figures and politicians.

Lorraine has produced and starred in many radio programs nationally and locally. For television, she created a…13…week entertainment series with a “live” audience. Previously, produced a …2…minute segment with stars…both programs were on ION Media Network in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

She wrote for the Post Gazette newspaper, Upscale Living Magazine, and still presents articles for Newton/Brookline Magazines. Most recently, an exclusive interview with Chris Cassidy, the astronaut who went into space.

Lorraine not interviews people, but she, herself, has been the subject of many an interview for publications such as The Boston Sunday Globe, The Boston Herald, 50 Plus Magazine twice and several community newspapers.

As well, as being featured and interviewed on the cover of a national senior magazine along with Harrison Ford, Tina Turner, Jack La Lane and United States Senator Saxby Chambliss.

At Simon Mall this past year, Lorraine was engaged twice. Once, to present her original romantic/comedy skits with Macy’s/Lord & Taylor’s fashions, plus promote her club, TISSS. The second time to host their “Senior Fashion Show” at another Simon Mall. Their public relation firm placed her presentation in several Massachusetts newspapers. One periodical videotaped her skits and entered it on YouTube.

She is president and founder of TISSS, the International Starlits/Stars Society. Starlits 34-64…Stars 65 and up. Trips…theatres…dinners…are planned for members who are business owners…homemakers…entrepreneurs…film and theatre producers from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Florida. Hope to go national someday!

Lorraine has written a book entitled “Sexy Food for Seniors”. She offers her services as a consultant and has lectured at national and local conventions. She taught artistry to actors, models, dancers, gymnasts and championship skaters. She graduated from Emerson College and studied acting with Stella Adler and Harold Clurman in New York City.
